Eastbury Manor House is now open.

From then onwards, we are open to the public every Friday 10am-4pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm.

Entry Prices
  • LBBD residents: Free (proof of address required)
  • National Trust / Art Pass Members: Free (valid membership card required)
  • Adult: £8.00
  • Child: £4.50
  • Age 6 and Under: Free
  • Concessions: £4.50 (Universal Credit recipients, full-time students, people aged 5-16, people aged over 65, and people with a disability. Please bring proof of entitlement. 1 free carer ticket available for persons with a disability)
  • Family: £19.00 (2 adults and up to 2 children)
  • Guided Group Tour: £8.50 per person (Min 15, must be arranged in advance - see details below)

What's Included With My Ticket

Your entry ticket includes entry to the whole house and grounds, all permanent and temporary exhibitions. You will also be provided with a visitor guide map. Our digital guide is also offered free of charge, which includes audio tours and additional historical information and behind-the-scenes content.

Getting Here

Located a short distance from Upney Station and Barking Town Centre, getting here couldn't be easier. 

London UndergrounD
Upney (District line): We are approximately a 7-minute walk from Upney Underground Station. 
London Overground
Barking (Suffragette Line): We are approximately a 20-minute walk from Barking. Alternatively, you can change to the District line for one stop to Upney, or hop on a local bus (see below).
National rail
C2C Line: Barking (Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness via Grays or Basildon)
Bus TO/FROM BARKING, DAGENHAM & RAINHAM
62 (Meadow Road Barking)
287, 368 (Tudor Road)
Bicycle
Eastbury has limited bicycle parking. 
Driving
Eastbury is located just off the A13 and A406 routes.
Parking: No on-site parking available. Midweek limited pay-by-phone parking on the surrounding streets, restrictions apply. Weekend free parking on surrounding streets.
Blue Badge Parking: 2x blue badge parking spaces on pavement by the main driveway gates.
Coach: coach drop off and pick up only as parking is restricted. Coaches should park in designated parking sites located in the centre of Barking.

Wheelchair Access

Wheelchair Access

Eastbury Manor House is fully wheelchair accessible, the upper floors of the house can be reached via a lift. Occasionally we may limit the number of wheelchair users who can access the upper floors at anyone time for evacuation safety. The ground floor is fully accessible. There is a ramped entrance at the main entrance, plus a sloped entrance to Eastbury Kitchen.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance Dogs

Assistance Dogs are welcome throughout the house. Our staff may check with you, as other dogs are not allowed in the house. Simply let them know your dog is an assistance dog.

Accessible Drop-Off Point

Accessible Drop-Off Point

For step-free and curb-free access, the best drop off point is by our main driveway gate on Eastbury Square. You can locate this spot using What 3 Words- ///turkey.pirate.oiled.

Families

We welcome children, young people and families to explore and discover our house and gardens. As well as our year-round Eastbury Explorers Trail, we have seasonal trails and occasional craft activities, especially during school holidays. Please check What's On for more info ahead of your visit.

Pushchairs and strollers can be left at a designated spot on the ground floor at your own risk. At busy times this is an outdoor spot. Baby changing facilities are available on the first floor.

We aim to have tour guides available each day we are open. Tour times are flexible depending on the number of guests in the house- on your arrival, check the board outside the front entrance for when to expect the next tour to start.

Tours last approximately 1 hour, and are completely free during your visit.

Private Group Tours

We offer private group tours (minimum 15 persons) all year round. Booking in advance is essential. Groups tours start at £8.50 per person, which includes a complementary hot drink on arrival.
